Retro retro retro EIGHTIES yeaaaahhhhh!


People who are close to me know that I have a bit of an odd affinity with retro things, mainly stuff from the 80's and early 90's. I particularly love the "kiddy rainbow" style because it always symbolised a kind of fantasy and innocence which was lost in the media during the time I grew up. It was also a more simpler time when technology hadn't quite taken over everybody's lives yet.

I'm pretty darn happy the style seems to be pretty hip in fashion and culture at the moment, though.

Myeh, dunno- I just find something fascinating about such a crazy style that died just as I became a kid- 'cause a big part of me wishes I was an 80's child. Although, admittedly, I am aware that the 80's is commonly known to be a highly selfish and commercially-driven era.

EDIT: WTF Medley's symbol was backwards? I fixed that in my flash file but I must have flipped her again LOL.
