I completed the storyline of Super Mario Galaxy 2 yesterday, and boy was I in as much wonderful, delicious ecstasy as when I first began.

I won't give you any spoilers, but I will say that I was very happy to see Princess Peach get such a brilliant role at the ending.

At some point during the game you see Bowser holding Peach hostage inside a pink bubble, which I thought looked really cute and made her look even more precious than usual. xD;;
(I dunno WHY Bowser put her in a bubble though- he gets weirder every game I swear. @_e Don't blame him for the insanity though.)

The ending really made me love Peach even more.

She is such a sweet and innocent character, which is fairly rare to go by in terms of lead female game characters.

I.tried playing the Mario games once, but I was only little so I didn't know play them. XD

Peach is an innocent character, but she needs better guards because not a regular Mario game goes by without Peach getting kidnapped (by anyone).
